Mostly I’m pretty happy with all the art in the book, don’t get me wrong, but cutting my teeth on an ambitious level of detail made for some creative lapses here or there and one of those is the dumb buildings behind the Chalmers’ luxury skyscraper.  I basically did nothing to improve on the source material, which is pretty lame.  In theory I’ll be upping my game at some point in the execution of “The Enchanted Dagger” so that I can really belt out some great radioscopic city-scape compositions…but even now as I’m getting started on Issue 4 of the book they’re still just artfully rendered urban collages as opposed to what I would really consider the exposition of the architectural aesthetic that I aspire to.  All the elements are there, though…its just going to require a more thorough study as the city emerges in the later issues….
