If I had thought it out at the time I’d have figured out the frog leg physiology.  Weeks of drawing frog men and then Troglodyte City….Logans Run meets Mesoamerican or, if you would, a Mississippi Culture, beneficiary of a booming trade network, echoing through the underworld…

some, hoppyier.  Like AT-ATs.

I’d love to have added another page here!  This is where I would have added one of the 3 extra pages that giving us a two page Pellucidar spread would have created.  It would just have been them and the Trogs roaming around the underworld land.  I’d have drawn some nice bugs and mushrooms….better fauna!  Pixies on bees and whatnot…
